Design Notes

We find t some documents show that there is some region have potential to bind with saccharide on the dengue virus envelope protein and we design the sequence base on it. This part is a tandem-repeats sequence (TRS) base on one of the possible binding sites of CLEC5A. To express the TRS more efficiently, we choose pET-29b(+) to be a expression system. We make TRS could be expressed more easily by adding some sequence and they would be cleaved by thrombin. Finally, the TRS would be purified with 6xHis-tag.
